Pickled Spring Onions
Very simple half dressing half side. Great spread over a salad.
Ingredients
- 6 Spring Onions
- 0.25 cup White Wine Vinegar
- 0.25 Water
- 0.5 tsp Sea Salt
- 0.5 tsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Chive finely sliced
Instructions
- Whisk vinegar, water, salt and honey together in the bottom of a small container with a lid until the salt and honey dissolve.
- Slice the bulbs and paler green parts into very thin coins and submerge them in the vinegar mixture. Finely slice the chives and add those too
- Cover and put in fridge until you’re ready to use them; if you can put them aside for an hour or even overnight, even better.
