Jamie's Plum and Almond Tart
This one is worth the effort if you want a very different dessert

- 350 g Blanched Almonds
- 300 g Unsalted Butter
- 300 g Caster Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- Pistachio Nut A handful

- 6 Plums halved and stoned
- 3 tbsp Vanilla Sugar
Make and Blind Bake the flan.
Use a food processor to blitz the Almonds ... almost a powder but some texture is good.
Cream the Butter and Sugar.
Add Almonds and lightly beaten Eggs. Fold it together then add the Pistachio nuts.
Chill it for a bit! Oh, and sprinkle the Sugar over the halved plums and leave for at least 10 minutes.
Fill Flan with mixture and then Push the Halved Plums into the mixture cut-side upwards.
Bake at 180oC for 1 hour. Remove from oven and leave to stand for 30 minutes.
