Ingredients

  • 6 Green Cardamom pods crushed discard hull
  • 4 Cloves
  • 5 g Black Peppercorns
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks
  • 10 g Coriander seeds
  • 5 g Cumin seeds
  • 4 g Fennel seeds
  • 4 star anise
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 2 g Mace
  • 10 g Poppy seeds
  • 2 g dried rose petals

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients, except the poppy seeds and dried rose petals, to a dry frying pan. Toast over a medium heat until it is fragrant
  • Remove from the heat and add the poppy seeds and dried rose petals. Allow to cool
  • Grind to a fine powder in a spice grinder
