Corn Chaat

This amazing dish can be serverd as a snack, or as a side dish.

Ingredients

  • 500 g Sweetcorn kernels I use fresh corn, you can use frozen
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Chaat Masala
  • ½ tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 Handful Fresh Coriander finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice

Instructions

  • Add the butter and salt to a saucepan over a medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add the sweetcorn; turn the heat down to low and place a lid on the pan. You are steaming the sweetcorn in butter :-)
  • After about 10 minnutes, taste a kernel to see if they are cooked. Once you are happy add the chilli powder and Chaat Masala. Mix and cook for a further two minutes.
  • Transfer into a serving dish and mix in the Coriander and Lime juice.
