Ingredients

tea

cups
all bran
1 1/2
cups
sultanas
2
cups
self raising flour

pinch
salt
1 1/2
cups
brown sugar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180
put the All Bran in a bowl and add the two cups of hot tea. Leave to soak for 5 minutes.
Add the sultanas to the bowl and again leave for a couple of minutes.
Sift in the flour and add the sugar and salt.
Gently stir together using a wooden spoon until the flour has combined.
Grease a 2lb loaf tin with butter. Put the mixture into the loaf tin.
Put into oven for 30 - 40 minutes. You can test to see if it is cooked using a skewer.
Remove from oven and remove loaf from tin and put onto a wire rack to cool.
